The Role:
The Entegris site in Aurora, IL is seeking a *Materials Quality Engineering Team Leader *to join our team. The new Materials Quality Engineering Team lead will report up through the Divisional Senior Materials Quality Manager, and be responsible for developing and leading our Chemicals category team in the proactive management and delivery of consistent raw materials to our manufacturing teams. They will also drive continuous quality improvements in the raw material supply chain.
The new hire in this role can look forward to being a subject matter expert for their given material category and thus work closely with their team to develop new skills and process knowledge. They will support their teams development and execution on raw material related issues both at the supplier level and also with end-user and internal customers.
*What You\'ll Do: *
Own supplier interactions and management for raw materials in given category; be the primary technical resource/lead for supplier corrective actions, audits and scorecards.
Support and develop the team on raw material supplier interaction and management
Drive on-time root cause analysis and corrective action for deficiencies for their own suppliers while also leading and developing team in the same area.
Provide leadership during problem resolution events and management of change opportunities
Be a technical expert for a given raw material category and be able to mentor team members on those skills
Build effective working relationships with key individuals at all suppliers and with internal stakeholders to influence quality, variation reduction and cost improvement projects
