ManpowerGroup Order Delivery Planner in Austin, Minnesota

Job Title: Order Delivery Planner

Payrate: $19.25 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (1-hour lunch break)

Department: Logistics

Location: Austin, MN

Responsibilities:

As an Order Delivery Planner, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating efficient truck delivery routes for customer and interplant orders.

  • Grouping individual sales and transfer orders from the mainframe-based Order Processing (OP) System into optimal truck delivery routes using JDA software.

  • Managing daily and weekly volume peaks based on sales levels, completing all routing daily regardless of volume fluctuations.

  • Handling work peaks between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., with the flexibility to adjust the lunch break timing based on workload.

  • Being available for unpredictable daily overtime during peak activity levels, as the workload dictates.

  • Working past normal business hours when necessary, as situations requiring extended work hours are not always predictable.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to accurately enter data.

  • Proficiency with personal computers and mainframe systems.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to initiate appropriate action independently.

  • Exemplary attendance record due to the transactional nature of the position.

  • Demonstrated understanding of teamwork as it relates to the entire organization.

Preferred:

  • Experience within a TMS (Transportation Management System).

  • Previous Logistics or Supply Chain experience.
