Plan and coordinate engagement and relationship-building events to include student, alumni and staff engagement. Cultivate strong relationships between alumni, parents and friends and the Division of Student Affairs. Support Associate Director of Development with events designed to solicit philanthropic gifts. Manage onsite logistics for events including making room reservations and arranging catering and coordinate staffing and volunteers. Develop and coordinate communication and promotions with appropriate staff.Assist with meeting preparation and follow up, including making travel arrangements, processing reimbursements, coordinating and scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, briefings and reports, proofreading and editing letters and reports, preparing and distributing agendas and handouts and developing presentations. Maintain document files, donor and prospect contact information, (VIP) database records, endowments and all documents related to university donor relations and activities. Other related duties as assigned.Manage partnership with the University Co-op related to fundraising efforts benefitting the Division of Student Affairs. This includes maintaining inventory of items, working with vendors to replenish inventory, filling inventory needs of the Co-op and handling revenue and financial tracking for related partnership.Participate in required staff and programmatic meetings and college/university events, working with the Division of Student Affairs, Texas Development and other university colleges, schools and units. Work collaboratively, proactively and in a professional, service-oriented manner with all university staff. Attend specialized training as appropriate.
