Aerotek Housekeeper Needed | Weekly Pay in Austin, Texas

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for thorough cleaning of non-occupied patient rooms, which include deep cleaning, bed making, flipping mattresses, and disinfecting the entire room. The role also involves proper handling of linens by putting them into a large, heavy bag and disposing them down the chute. The candidate will also be tasked with cleaning Isolation rooms, which involves strict safety measures, thorough mopping with a string mop, and comprehensive cleaning of the room. This requires wearing a full gown and mask. Work schedule is from 7AM-3:30PM, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends.

The candidate will mostly be working independently, hence being a self-starter is crucial. The work environment is a hospital setting. Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance, which includes no facial piercings and covering of tattoos. Use of heavy fragrances is discouraged.
