Act as the primary point of contact for faculty members seeking IT educational support, providing timely assistance and guidance.Collaborate with faculty to understand their specific technology needs and requirements, advocating for solutions and improvements.Coordinate the implementation of technology solutions tailored to meet faculty needs, including hardware, software, and infrastructure.Provide ongoing support and training to faculty on utilizing digital learning environments effectively, including Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), third-party tools, and classroom technologies.Stay updated on relevant regulations, standards, and best practices pertaining to educational technology and digital learning environments.Collaborate with external partners such as the Office of Academic Technology and ITS to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Engage in regular meetings and discussions with external partners to stay informed about developments and initiatives related to educational technology.Represent the interests and needs of the School of Nursing faculty within external committees, working groups, or task forces focused on technology standards and compliance.Foster partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise for the benefit of School of Nursing learning environments.Back up technology educational support to the Simulation and Skills center for learner activities (simulations and skills course support).Back up technology educational support to the LEAP department for all external and internal activities (conferences, summer camp, continuing education events, etc.).
