DXC Technology Inside Sales - Insurance - Remote (US) in Austin, Texas

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify potential leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand their needs and articulate how the IT products or services offered can address those needs.

  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the IT products or services being offered. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to effectively communicate the value proposition.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about the competitive landscape and industry trends. Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams for continuous improvement.

  • Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to the relevant teams for product/service improvement and enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.

  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in IT inside sales or a related field. Familiarity with IT products, software, or services is a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to handle objections and move deals forward.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the market and industry. Stay agile and responsive to customer needs.

  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of IT concepts and terminology.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $114,200 - $212,000.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
