Apogee Sales Engineering Coordinator in Austin, Texas

Our ideal candidate has an engineering mindset, who wants to work as the hub between sales, project management and engineering. You take ownership for doing what you’ll say you’ll do, are naturally detail oriented and love a deadline.

In this role you will:

  • Conduct site surveys (requires travel) to document site specific details that will inform the engineering design.

  • Works with Network Services to peer review designs that allows other departments to build and plan with accurate design plans.

  • Completes site surveys, peer design reviews

  • Prepares documents supporting the pre-implementation process- this includes researching, surveying, and submitting findings

  • Work with sales, engineering, project operations in support of meeting deadlines

  • Coordinate your work with others, ensure information is accurate and complete

  • You’ll work in online systems, you must have proficiency using Excel and other online SaaS systems

  • Communicate effectively with the team and management on timelines, action items, and help drive projects to on-time completion

  • Ensure project documents are complete, and ensure proper filing and storage

  • Maintain transparent work systems

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 depending on experience.

Requirements

  • STEM undergraduate degree or have equivalent work experience that demonstrates this competency.

  • Travel (up to 40%) is required to visit customer sites within the United States

  • Natural technical aptitude.

  • Must understand engineering concepts relating to our business. This includes equipment, and terminology.

  • Strong documentation skills

  • Proficiency using Excel and other online SaaS systems

  • NetSuite experience is not required but must demonstrate efficiency with these tools within 60 days.

Deliver on service commitments, meet established or agreed upon deadlines, and maintain supportive relationships with customers.

Taking initiative. Respond quickly and appropriately to requests that come to you from internal and external customers. Assume you’re wholly responsible for owning an issue to its conclusion (including solving the problem or escalating it in a timely manner).
