Amazon Senior Product Manager, DA Experience, On-Road Staffing in Austin, Texas

The On Road Staffing (ORS) team is seeking a strategic leader to serve as the Sr. DSP DA Experience Product Manager. The scope of impact spans globally across multiple geographies, requiring a thoughtful and tenacious leader with the ability to influence stakeholders within and outside of ORS. This is an omni-purpose role that is cross-functionally strategic, analytical, and influential.

This leader will have solid business acumen, be comfortable interfacing and driving across various functional teams, have a passion for developing and implementing processes in an ambiguous problem space, and be willing to roll up their sleeves to improve a program that will significantly impact Amazon’s last mile delivery capabilities. The leader will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Our team is scaling processes and initiatives fast, requiring the Product Manager to hit the ground running.

They will build, define, identify, and execute on projects that reduce cognitive load for DSP candidates during their hiring and onboarding journey. They will identify and solve for global opportunities by creating effective partnerships with other DSP/DA Experience teams across Amazon, sharing best practices, enabling and evolving a way to identify continuous improvement for ORS.

This role is responsible for diving deep into processes, understanding current capabilities and limitations, and making critical judgement decisions about how to handle stakeholder requests. They think long-term and are willing to sacrifice short-term gains for the bigger picture.

Key job responsibilities

  • Create and drive a strategic vision that improves the DSP Delivery Associate (DA) hiring and onboarding journey

  • Deep dive current hiring and onboarding processes and define metrics to track improvements made to the DA journey

  • Influence and hold other teams accountable to driving improvements in DA hiring/onboarding experience metrics

  • Evaluate the in-app onboarding workflow, and lead initiatives that improve the candidate experience in-app

  • Build and maintain relationships with external teams across the DSP program

  • Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to support large-scale programs and initiatives

  • Responsible for coordinating Funnel Programs project intakes, pilots or proposals through implementation at selected stations across the ORS network.

  • Have a rigorous approach to problem solving and analytics, as well as produce, interpret, and draw conclusions from data.

  • Provide leadership, expertise, and technical/operational guidance to the stakeholders within ORS.

  • Enhance and foster innovation with measurable attributes to monitor success amidst each project and deliverable within ORS.

  • Establish business priorities, identifying and communicating risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders; developing and maintaining goals, milestones and completion dates.

  • Be comfortable presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders, receptive of feedback and quick to apply changes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
