Amazon Senior Technical Program Manager - Business Intelligence, T&C Strategy and Operations in Austin, Texas

Are you passionate about working with analytics teams and solving complex business challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? As the Senior Technical Program Manager for the AWS Training and Certification (T&C) Business Intelligence (BI) team, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and shape the long-term BI and data analytics roadmap for AWS T&C.

The AWS Training and Certification (T&C) organization educates customers, partners, and AWS employees on AWS services, products, and solutions. As the Sr. TPM of the AWS T&C BI team, you will have broad latitude to interpret data (including revenue, individual trained, customer trends, opex, etc.) and influence the organization's senior management. You will collaborate with the team to provide proactive, deep insights into the KPIs and metrics driving the business. You will lead strategic initiatives such as reporting platform strategy, data storage and access strategy, and building enterprise-ready data models for scale, efficiency, and accuracy.

Key job responsibilities

• Drive the successful delivery of complex, mission-critical business intelligence (BI) and analytics programs across AWS. Coordinate cross-functional teams to define requirements, manage dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Serve as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, translating their needs into actionable program plans. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

• Partner with functional leaders to design and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade BI solutions, including a single source of truth for data and reporting.

• Proactively identify and mitigate risks. Implement processes and tools to improve program visibility, transparency, and governance. Escalate issues effectively to drive timely resolution.

• Lead the implementation of BI best practices, tools, and standards across the organization. Evangelize the benefits of these capabilities to drive adoption.

• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of program managers. Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with tools like Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, SQL, ETL, Python, AWS Glue, and AWS Athena is preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
