Sr. Manager, Software Engineering - Lead Delivery & Monetization at Realtor.com ®

Location: Austin, TX

As a Senior Manager, you'll play a pivotal role as a technical leader throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Leveraging your exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, you will drive cross-organizational initiatives and deliver innovative solutions that set industry standards. Your involvement will be instrumental in designing and implementing optimal solutions for our valued consumers and customers.

As the leader of the Lead Delivery and Monetization teams at Realtor.com , you will play a pivotal role in facilitating individuals' home journeys by aligning them with real estate partners, including Buyer's Agents. Your direct impact will drive the achievement of critical OKRs.

What you'll do:

• Motivate the team and inspire them to deliver against a diverse range of organizational initiatives with enthusiasm and dedication.

• Foster an environment of integrity, trust, high quality, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with technical leads and architects to define a technical roadmap and uphold the overall architectural integrity of our Move products.

• Continuously optimize tools and practices across teams and organizations to facilitate faster experimentation and value delivery.

• Lead engineering teams in developing highly scalable experiences and services.

• Lead engineering teams in developing and operationalizing experiences and services utilizing advanced data architectures deployed on Amazon Web Services.

• Lead engineering teams in delivering value to our consumers and customers through incremental implementation while ensuring high quality.

What you'll bring:

• Demonstrated experience of 3-5 years in leading software engineering teams within a technology company.

• Proven track record of being results and outcome-driven, recognizing the importance of efficiently shipping code and iterating on results.

• Exceptional ability to coach and mentor engineers, aiding in skill enhancement and career advancement.

• Deep understanding of modern web architectures, popular database technologies, and cloud platforms

• Hands-on experience in high-level design and familiarity with industry best practices and design patterns.

• Strong customer empathy with a dedication to exceeding their expectations consistently.

• Enthusiasm for continuous learning, improvement, collaboration, and sharing within a team environment.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
