Description We are inviting applications for the role of Sr. Software Engineer in Austin, Texas. This role primarily focuses on the development of custom web applications using various JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js. The position is well-suited for individuals who are passionate about creating efficient, testable code and have a strong understanding of what makes a great user experience.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Vue.js or similar JavaScript frameworks to develop custom web applications.
• Collaborate with the Product team to iterate on designs and user experience flows.
• Ensure the development of reusable, testable code to drive engineering efficiency.
• Display self-direction with a strong bias towards action in an ambiguous environment.
• Utilize tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence to ensure smooth project execution.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of front-end testing options to ensure product quality.
• Develop consumer-facing front-end web apps.
• Use JavaScript and other related tools effectively to deliver desired results.
• Maintain attention to detail and an understanding of what makes a great user experience.
• Apply skills in C++, Database, EO/IR systems, GitHub, Hibernate ORM, AB Testing, API Development, ASP.NET, Design, and Framework to achieve project goals. Requirements • Proficient in C++ programming language
• Experience with database management and optimization
• Knowledge of EO/IR systems
• Familiarity with GitHub and its functionalities
• Proficiency in Hibernate ORM for database management
• Prior experience in AB Testing
• Skilled in API Development
• Expertise in ASP.NET for web application development
• Strong design skills, with a focus on user experience and user interface
• Knowledge of various programming and software development frameworks
• Proficiency in JavaScript programming language
• Prior experience in a senior software engineering role is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
