Clinical Application Specialist - Surgical (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Paris or Lyon

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Application Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical expertise, support, and training to customers in our surgical product area. You will play a critical role in ensuring that healthcare professionals can effectively utilize our products to improve patient care.

What You Can Expect:

  • Works collaboratively (with the field sales representative) to support surgical cases with local physicians and other clinicians for training and follow-up

  • Partners with field sales representative assessing the needs of customers and in providing training programmes at customer facilities for physicians, hospital personnel and office staff.

  • Analyses and prepares reports, documenting training performance for all instruction provided to customers

  • Attends internal/external education meetings and reads appropriate professional journals to maintain and enhance skills and clinical competency

  • Educates the Sales Team on all of the current clinical data and new developments regarding Hologic’s products, including how these developments can provide clinical benefits and patient safety

  • Determine best methods and needs for dealing with customer complaints, troubleshooting issues, and public relations, and coordinate and liaison with other departments as necessary

What We Expect:

  • Previous clinical training experience in surgical med-tech industry OB-GYN preferred.

  • Strong understanding of clinical applications and technology used in diagnostic procedures.

  • Excellent teaching skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Willingness to travel extensively to support customers and attend events (up to 80%).
