About the role

  • Our Hydrogen Fluoride production team, consisting of 30 people, is integrated into the Production department and focuses on producing hydrogen fluoride (HF) in collaboration with Purchasing, Maintenance and Logistics.

  • As Production Unit Manager for HF production, you will be responsible for the technical and personnel management of this production area, considering legal constraints and business objectives in coordination with the production management at the location. You will have the opportunity to implement the continuous improvement process (CIP) by controlling measures to improve productivity and increase efficiency and profitability.

  • You will be accountable for:

  • The safety and health of employees in the responsible work area, instructing employees on how to handle hazardous substances, organizing, conducting and participating in safety briefings.

  • Ensure the performance and coordination of all tasks for proper production in your area, taking into account all internal and external specifications as well as compliance with safety and environmental protection regulations.

  • Monitoring of the structures, processes and the employees directly subordinate to them.

  • Control and monitoring of the timely and quality production, storage and labeling of the ordered products.

  • Maintain the change process (MOC = management of change) for changes in your area of responsibility in compliance with the specified guidelines and monitoring the process.

  • Complaint processing, documentation and evaluation.

  • We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.

About you

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Process Engineering, Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification (e.g. technician)

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a production department within managerial roles

  • Competencies:

  • Relevant work experience in the chemical industry or comparable

  • Lean production

About the pay and benefit s

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the German base pay reasonably expected for this role is € 85,000.00 to € 91,000.00, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
