ReSound SAFe Scrum Master in Ballerup, Denmark

Then you might be our new Scrum Master with a base at our Global Headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark.

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in fulfilling our mission to Bring People Closer. You will be responsible for facilitating, coaching, and supporting two of our agile teams. Your role is vital in fostering agile methodologies, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and maintaining transparent progress.

The Team you will be part of

The team you will join comprises Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters, structured around eight Agile Release Trains, supporting our development centers: DC Hearing, DC Video Systems, and DC Headset and Consumer. As part of the global LACE organization, which includes Release Train Engineers (RTE) and dedicated Scrum Masters, you will assist our agile teams in delivering work items agreed upon in our Planning Intervals (PIs).

We emphasize teamwork, collaboration, and coaching to ensure successful agile deliveries. Our mission is to constantly enhance agile development capabilities by developing agile coaching skills and offering training throughout the organization. By fostering lean-agile practices, we aim to align agile implementation across R&D and business units globally using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

The primary role of a SAFe Scrum Master is to support and facilitate the execution of iterations through the leadership of Scrum ceremonies.

These include:

  • Daily stand-ups

  • Iteration planning

  • Iteration refinement

  • Iteration reviews

  • Iteration and PI retrospective

  • PI preparation and refinements

  • Facilitate PI Objectives with the agile team

In the role of a servant leader, you will facilitate, promote, and empower the team to engage and participate in essential events and ceremonies. Your contributions are valued as you will:

  • Promote continued improvements

  • Navigate cross-team dependencies

  • Employ business agility assessments for the team

  • Participate in ART-wide activities and planning

  • Improve coaching and conflict management skills for healthier team relationships

  • Enhance cross-ART understanding and involvement.

To excel in this role, we envision that you possess:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study

  • Have 5+ years of experience in a software development environment, handling complex technical software solutions. Understand the complexity of embedded solutions and related challenges

  • Documented experience in agile methodologies

  • Proficiency in working within a SCRUM and/or SAFe framework

  • An authentic desire to engage in a social and collaborative work environment is essential, where successes are celebrated together, and challenges are addressed through open discussion

  • Excellent project and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.
