The Center for Information Technology Services (CITS)has an exciting opportunity available for anIT Enterprise Application Associate Developer orIT Enterprise Application Developer* to become part of a team implementing the cloud-based Blackbaud CRMfor UMB’s Philanthropy office.The selected candidate, under general direction, will independently design, develop, and implement reports and application extensions using a variety of technologies.They will assist in on-going support and maintenance of the CRM application. Exempt regular staff receive a generous leave package that includes over 4 weeks of vacation accrued each year, paid holidays, unlimited accrual of sick time, and comprehensive health insurance; professional learning and development programs; tuition remission for employees and their dependents at any University System of Maryland school; and flexible work schedules and teleworking options (if applicable per job). *PRIMARY DUTIES -IT Enterprise Application Associate Developer: * The IT Enterprise Application Developer - Associate performs entry-level duties in the design, development, testing, and implementation and/or maintenance of enterprise-wide application software solutions to meet campus business requirements. The position will assist in the analysis and understanding of ERP software applications and in the development of software solutions to address business processes that integrate multiple facets of core campus business activities. Assists in the on-going support and maintenance of these critical enterprise-wide production systems. * Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of reports and application extensions for UMB's cloud-based Blackbaud CRM System from inception to implementation. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Assist in the analysis and leverage of application and reporting tools for Blackbaud CRM to deliver solutions. * Assist in the analysis and leverage of third party reporting tools such as PLSQL,Oracle Analytics, and similar Business Intelligence tools. * Provide recommendations and ensure maintenance of technical documentation. * Assist in troubleshooting issues with application, integrations, and reporting. * Understand and apply current campus software development methodologies. * Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure project goals are met. * Ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of applications. * Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - IT Enterprise Application Associate Developer: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field. Experience: Prior knowledge and experience with ERP software packages (e.g., PeopleSoft/Oracle, Banner, etc.), or other enterprise-wide application software (e.g., COEUS, Maximus ERS) preferred. Preferred Experience:Experience with application development or reporting tools preferred. Experience reporting with PLSQL, SQL, Oracle Analytics Cloud and similar BI tools preferred. Other: May consider a combination of directly related experience and education. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - IT Enterprise Application Developer: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field. Experience: Two (2) years of experience with ERP software packages (e.g., PeopleSoft/Oracle, Banner, etc.), or other enterprise-wide application software (e.g., COEUS, Maximus ERS) preferred. Preferred Experience: Experience with application development or reporting tools preferred. Experience reporting with PLSQL, SQL, Oracle Analytics Cloud and similar BI tools preferred. Other: May consider a combination of directly related experience and education. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Ability to collaborate with clients and/or other members of the team to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. * Ability to troubleshoot development/production issues with other technical staff. * Ability to multi-task in work that is complex and varied in nature. * Ability to support users and assist them in the use of application software. * Ability to provide support to and work collaboratively with senior-level staff. * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Knowledge of Blackbaud CRM or Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred. * Knowledge of Financial Edge and Raise Applications preferred.
