Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Aerospace product manufacturing team from eng team.

  • Minimum 2-year experience in CAD applications (Catia).

  • Providing valuable support to address technical inquiries and prevent production disruptions.

  • Offering solutions to address manufacturing non-conformities at both the detailed part and assembly levels.

  • Engaging in effective communication with suppliers and customers to clarify Engineering Query Notes (EQN) and respond to Supplier Requests (SR).

  • Participate in Engineering Change Management Process

  • Experience on CI – Lean/6 sigma/Root Cause Analysis.

  • Ability to read, understand and create technical drawings, sketches.

  • Tools/fixtures design and fabrication.

  • Demonstrating knowledge on engineering drawings, assembly specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

  • Playing a pivotal role in the creation of essential technical documents, including Work instructions (WI), Visual Instructions (VI).

  • Collaborating in the Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) process, participating in risk assessment and mitigation, and contributing to Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities alongside cross-functional teams (CFT).

  • Work experience on PLM tool -Teamcenter, SAP

  • Knowledge on Obsolescence management process.

  • Basic understanding of electronic parts and Light optics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office – Word, Excel, and Presentation

  • Working with BLR Operations team onsite, BLR Engineering team and German customers

  • Team Player and Interpersonal skill to work with cross functional team.

  • Attention to details to ensure high quality work to customers.

  • Serving as a mentor and trainer for junior executives and new hires, imparting knowledge on assembly specifications and requirements.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • 4 to 6 years of Industry experience with exposure to product manufacturing, New Product Development, Redesign and CAD Activities

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering/Mechanical Design/Aeronautical Engineering

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Process

  • Knowledge on materials, special process and manufacturing processes

  • Sound Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals and experience on manufacturing problem solving.
