Job Description : Augmented Reality (AR) Content Developer
Education and Experience
Graduate with Engineering Degree.
2 to 5 years of experience in Technical Writing/Instructional Designing.
Requirements
Using the technical understanding and documentation skills to produce high-quality outlines and storyboards.
Interpreting storyboards that describe maintenance procedures to design innovative and interactive 3D experiences.
Hands-on experience in Interactive 3D/AR design.
Learning new software, tools, and techniques to support high-quality AR development.
Experience supporting the development of technical content, procedures, and documentation for engineering, manufacturing, or servicing of complex equipment.
Experience with any of the following tools, or similar, is an advantage:
Unity 3D (Animations)
Unreal Engine (Animations)
Maya (Animations)
Experience using CAD applications (Teamcenter and NX).
Coordinating meetings with international interdisciplinary teams to ensure the timely progress and delivery of training experiences.
Excellent English language verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Technical acumen with experience working in a high-tech engineering environment with knowledge of industrial equipment systems.
Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects.
Must be a quick learner, self-starter, with strong attention to detail, and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
Experience using Microsoft HoloLens or any other AR/VR goggles is a plus.
Requires working closely with US-based teams during US working hours.
May require 10% international travel.
Role and Responsibility
Independently working on technical writing/AR content development projects: ensure the projects are completed on time, objectives are defined, and necessary planning activities (e.g., plan authoring, review, estimation of deliverables, milestones, validating and testing, reliability, and risk mitigation of documents).
Ensure project results meet requirements and ensure technical accuracy, quality, reliability, and schedule.
Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), engineers, and mechanical and electrical designers to identify the most effective product and service illustration solutions that are highly accurate and complete.
Plans and designs AR experiences that train field service engineers, technical support engineers, and install engineers.
