Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Manager in Bangalore, India

Responsibilities

  • Partner across Microsoft to understand business goals, user needs, collect requirements, and synthesize product plans to deliver maximum impact across all areas. 

  • Deliver end-to-end product solutions, including competitive research, requirements definition, user experience, and delivery of capabilities. 

  • Successfully validate and improve product solutions over time through measurement and experimentation. 

  • Manage dependencies across teams to ensure that features land on time with the required scope that is scalable for the diverse user needs and clients.

  • Engage with customers and internal preview users, and triage, prioritize, and address customer feedback for your area. 

  • Regularly present new product plans, strategy, demos, competitive reviews, and more to the leadership team. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and bias for action are very welcome.  

  • Solid project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a track record of managing complex projects with many partners.  

  • Experience across the entire product lifecycle – from project inception to ship and the know-how required to lead your crew to realize your vision.  

  • Solid affinity and experience in user-centered design, UX design and innovating on behalf of the customer is required.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical . 

  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically to define and track success metrics for your areas.
