Identity and Access Management Scrum Master

Iron Mountain’s (IRM) Enterprise Information Technology-Platforms is hiring an experienced Scrum Master. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced organization that is responsible for Identity and Access Management (IAM). Our team supports the IRM workforce and our customers.

The Scrum Master will be collaborating closely with key stakeholders and technologists to orchestrate and conduct the team, guiding the team to create something that no one of them could create alone.

The Scrum Master is responsible to uphold the quality of project delivery that ensures the business outcomes are met through project execution. Be working closely with our technologists and business stakeholders and ensuring proper support for our project team to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

● Set up and maintain the Scrum and board.

● Guide the Development team where possible towards self-organization.

● Lead the team through healthy conflict and debate.

● Teach, coach and mentor the organization and team in adoption and use of Scrum.

● When possible, shield the team from disturbance and external threats.

● Create transparency by communicating information via e.g. the product and sprint backlog, daily Scrum, reviews and a visible workspace.

● Ensure a collaborative culture exists within the team.

● Back-up and fill in for Principal Architect or other leads.

● Work to document technical and business requirements.

● Create complete Agile user stories.

● Review, approve, update and maintain user stories, issues and epics.

● Facilitate and conduct requirement gathering sessions to identify current and future state requirements.

● Support the creation of process flows and activity based capabilities to outline the proposed changes and the steps involved.

● Suggest ways for businesses to improve.

● Explore different solutions, their risks, benefits and impacts.

● Ensuring the changes are made – for example, by overseeing the implementation of new technology or a new process.

● Contributing to training and support for people affected by new systems and processes

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

● Bachelor's degree preferred, with a concentration in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalentexperience.

● A strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework

● Project and time management discipline and techniques.

● Knowledge and experience with software development principles.

● Communication and interpersonal skills.

● Logic and Problem Solving.

● Experience in reporting, metrics and MS Excel/Google Sheets.

● Mastery and proficiency with Gitlab or other collaboration tools e.g. Jira.

● Strong analytical and organizational skills.

● Reporting skills including Excel – pivots, databases, sorting, and data manipulation.

● Possess analytical capability with attention to detail.

● Ability to challenge and to ask where clarity is required.

● Excellent communications skills - written and oral.

● Innovative and creative approach is essential.

● Proactive in approach to all situations, and takes ownership of activities and outputs.

● An effective systems specialist and problem solver.
