What You’ll Do

This role requires a person familiar with software development and standard methodologies around software quality assurance. The candidate must have experience developing, configuring, deploying, and debugging in cloud technology-based environments such as Kubernetes, as well as being comfortable with local server hardware and VMs. You will test a multitude of applications and technologies on our platform.

Who You Are

This is a technical role that requires a strong background in software development and testing of complex communication systems, capability to address complex problems concerning network management, ability to work with multiple teams located in different time zones. Ideally you will have Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with about 6-9 years of proven experience.

You will contribute to the team in the following ways:

Experience required:

· You are an Engineer passionate about quality, automation and has excellent problem-solving abilities.

· You should have good technical experience in developing Test frameworks, tools, Strategy, Plans, Cases and Automate using any at least one Scripting language.

· Must have played the SDET role with innovation in focus, provide architectural and technical leadership on developing test automation frameworks & tools.

· Should have experience working on public and private cloud, highly scalable, distributed applications, products, and services.

· Must be a critical problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.

· Experience:

· Proven experience of more than 5+ Years in strong programming, development & debugging skills

· Experience in building automated testing frameworks, test tools, automated test suites and Linux.

· Testing and automation of Micro Services based on Service Oriented Architectures (REST) APIs.

· Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.

· Experience in working in an Agile environment.

· Experience in any/multiple Cloud Testing

· Exposure to Dockers, Kubernetes or Bigdata technologies is an added advantage

• Hands-on familiarity with automation frameworks such as pyATS, pyTest and Selenium

• Confidence in testing and developing REST based API applications

• Good background with Kubernetes, including Helm packaging, and Docker

• Working knowledge of JIRA, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, Jenkins, GIT
