Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Travel and Expense

Supervisor who is interested to play a key role in the development of a COE for the

accounting department that is being established at Bangalore, India. This position will

report to the Accounting Manager and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who

has the desire to join a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.

This position calls for someone with a pro-active work approach, being flexible and

hands on to perform a broad variety of Travel and Expense activities.

Your Impact

  • Review and Approve business expenses ensuring adherence to travel policies.

  • Oversee the expense reporting process, including reviewing and approving expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, optimizing travel expenses, and providing guidance to employees regarding their travel and expense.

  • Manage Global Corporate Card Program (Applications, Delinquency, Termination/Relocations and Reconciliations)

  • Provide training and guidance to employees on Expense booking tools, expense reporting software, and reimbursement procedures.

  • Monitor travel and expense trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and recommend strategies for improvement.

  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile travel expenses and ensure timely reimbursement to employees and clearing.

  • Reconciliation of Expense Control account for Company Bill Company Pay Program.

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on travel and expense metrics, and policy compliance for management review.

  • T&E Projects/Enhancement and Process improvement support

  • Ensure optimal internal customer satisfaction.

  • All other task/responsibilities as required for the job, ad hoc corporate and business request.

Your Experience

  • UG/ PG Degree in Accountancy or equivalent military qualification required

  • Minimum of 12-14 years relevant experience in Travel and Expense Function

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Concur, Appzen and SAP systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Hands on experience in New Corporate Card Program Implementation.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

  • Experience managing a team, Production planning and overseeing projects.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
