FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALISTS Commercial Hood Cleaning Technician in BANGOR, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Fire Protection Specialists is a family owned and operated business in Bangor, WI. The role of a hood cleaner involves thorough cleaning and maintenance of kitchen exhaust systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards. Responsibilities include removing grease and debris, adhering to safety protocols, utilizing specialized equipment, providing excellent customer service, and documenting cleaning activities. This position is 3rd shift Sunday night through Thursday night. Typically, our hood cleaners start work between 6-8 PM and finish between 2-4 AM. Some out of town travel is required as we cover a large territory, however we are flexible and do our best to work with you. While traveling we provide hotel rooms with kitchenettes to prepare your own meals if you\'d like. We also provide per diem of \$50 per day that you are traveling overnight. The starting wage is \$18.50 per hour, and does require having a valid drivers license. Requirements: Valid driver\'s license High School Diploma or GED (preferred) 2+ Professional Work Experience Responsibilities: 3rd shift work schedule: Sunday Night -Thursday Night (6-8PM - 2-4 AM) Out of Town travel required (Hotel paid for by FPS - \$50 per diem a day while traveling) Establish and maintain trust with team members and customers. Provide service to company standards for all assigned jobs. Stock trucks with needed material for upcoming jobs Keep an organized and clean work environment. Follow vehicle maintenance and inventory procedures monthly Follow receipt turn in process weekly. Maintain safe work environment Ability to climb up and down from ladders/roofs Ability to lift 50lbs of material Diligently document and report all jobs and details of jobs. Properly communicate all compliance issues to the correct contact Maintain professionalism at customer locations and at the office. Ability to arrive to jobs on time Ability to work with and maintain basic equipment Follow proper PPE procedures.
