Chevron Venezuela is accepting online applications for the position Upgrader Specialist PSM Operations through July 2 at 11:59 p.m.

Implement procedures for the Verification and Verification (V&V) of Safeguards of high consequence systems, following on agreed actions resulting from V&V of safeguards associated with high consequence systems ensuring execution of closure plan. Responsible for LOC classification based on API - 54: Process Safety Performance Indicators for the Refining and Petrochemical Industries and company standards. Ensure the proper implementation and operation of compliance with the elements of the Process safety elements associated with the Upgrader operation (Compliance and help in updating Operational Procedures, identification of Management of change, Identification and Participation in pre-start-up safety review meetings, verification of adequate mechanical integrity of equipment) Monitor the execution of the annual Process Safety plan for the company, in new or modified facilities and its compliance for the facilities. Carry out permanent monitoring of Safeguards are in place and functioning: monitoring activities such as: PSV calibrations, Bypasses of critical protections, carry out quality reviews in Management of Change, and field verification of Safeguards operation. Advise the other departments on the implementation and assurance of Process Safety in day-to-day operations, leading the implementation of process safety elements in accordance with corporative Standard.

Lead Process safety audits included external and internal; ensuring the management cycle system will be followed and documented.
