Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators in Barrett, MN. From: 02/15/2024 to 12/14/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST Law: Effective 01/01/2024 Must Apply By: 07/16/2024 NOTE: JOB DUTIES: Drives/operates farm machinery, plant, cultivate, spray, fertilize, harvest, store grain crops of corn, soy beans and sugar beets. Attach farm implements, e.g. plow, disc, drill to tractor, till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tows harvesting equipment, drives/operates self-propelled combine to harvest crops. Repairing farm machinery and transports produce to elevator or storage area. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum (3) months experience required. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (Class D) within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
