Job Overview:
The summer intern will support updates of vessel specific standard operating procedures and track history as well as support preparations of the internal department website
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Work alongside VOM and Associate Operation Engineers to update vessel specific
Make site visits to vessels docked in Gulfport, MS
Witness project spooling operations if the opportunity arises
Work on the INSIGHT website for the MA&O department
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Earning a bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, ocean or subsea engineering from an accredited university
Previous internship in offshore Oil and Gas preferred, but not required
Proficient in MS office suite of software
Proficient in ACAD
Eager to learn offshore operations
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
Ability to work as a team member
Open to experience technical activities, including on and offshore operations
Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Project
