Customer Relationship: Promote a customer-centered culture at the plant. Technical Knowledge: Develop and continually improve technical knowledge of processes in order to continually improve and problem solve. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of relentless pursuit of continuous improvement and lean practices, focused and data based. Utilize MDI and process confirmation system to drive quality improvement. Highly-engaged in continuous improvement efforts. Quality Improvement: Optimize the production process to assure that quality is built-in, not inspected in. Support quality initiatives and corrective actions to drive a culture that supports our Quality Statement and helps employees learn and improve. Collaborates with other members of organization to improve data collection infrastructure and process for analysis. Supports the quality manager in improvement efforts to establish and enforce an effective Quality Management System (QMS). Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Serve as the plant's SME (subject matter expert) for the quality data collection system. Proficient in the Company's Business System Quality Module. Achieves Key Performance Indicator (KPI) objectives by helping develop the appropriate production/quality data collection process, collecting data (including nonconformance), and conducting the appropriate analysis to allow for the appropriate continuous improvement strategic plans to be enacted. This includes owning a project or being a part of a team that implements Corrective or Preventative action to ensure the KPIs are met. Develop quality control plans (QCP) by identifying critical control points and implementing preventive measures or test methods, understanding machine or material process limits, monitoring production inspection results, and verifying or updating quality procedures. Quality Administration: Supports the facility quality efforts and defines operational procedures. Collaborates with other members of the quality organization to share best practices and ensure standardization across business units. Monitors the performance of the Quality Management System through data analysis and adherence to standards. Works with the quality manager to achieve overall financial objectives, reduce customer credits by making fiscally responsible business decisions and initiating corrective actions to prevent systemic issues from occurring. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in engineering, manufacturing technology or Business Administration (related technical discipline may be considered). 4+ years of direct experience with requisites in lieu of degree.
