Amergis SPED Teacher - Moderate/Severe in Beaumont, California

Position: Moderate/Severe SPED Teacher

Location: Banning

Start Date: ASAP upon compliance

Schedule: Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Pay: $60-65 per hour

Assignment Details:

  • Middle School

  • Moderate/Severe Certification Required

  • Caseload: 10-12 students per classroom

  • Interview Required

    Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with moderate to severe disabilities.

  • Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the needs of students.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in both academic and functional skills.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and compliance requirements.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
