Amergis SPED Teacher - Moderate/Severe in Beaumont, California
Position: Moderate/Severe SPED Teacher
Location: Banning
Start Date: ASAP upon compliance
Schedule: Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Pay: $60-65 per hour
Assignment Details:
Middle School
Moderate/Severe Certification Required
Caseload: 10-12 students per classroom
Interview Required
Job Duties:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the needs of students.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
Provide direct instruction and support to students in both academic and functional skills.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and compliance requirements.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
