We are looking for a Buyer II to support the NA Men’s Sports & Licensed businesses for Nike Direct; inclusive of Soccer, Football, Baseball, Tennis & Golf. As the NA Buyer, you'll be responsible for supporting the seasonal and weekly business strategies for Nike’s own retail channels. You’ll drive product assortment adoption, segmentation, and mix to deliver business results for the Nike Direct business. You’ll partner across functions, including Brand, Planning and Operations, to ensure key moments and products are ready for the Sport & Licensed consumer.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will enable the strategizing, building, and managing the Nike Direct business and product journeys cross-functionally.

A consistent part of your day-to-day responsibilities will be the detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments. Enabling this effort will be the development of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, comfort with research and analysis, along with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You’ll partner with several cross-functional teams – consumer planning, allocation, operations, GEO merch, and marketing teams. A key enabler of your success will be your background and experience in retail.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a combination of relevant experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or relevant experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of consumer and marketplace

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, experience working on new projects/start-ups/concepts/ideas

  • Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners

  • Team first mentality, energy giver

  • Passion for sport
