Job Description
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Engaging in all phases of assigned project of localization, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
Responsible for the process development, component V&V, quality improvement etc. to ensure the quality of the dual source or local made in house.
Knowledgeable of following electrical components and interconnects: digital, analog, power supply solutions etc.
Initial the localization opportunity/funnel, and assess the feasibility with RDO, suppliers through technical review and kick off the projects with solid business impact.
Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and common technology initiatives in the assigned localization project
Quality Specific Goals:
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type / position
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
Qualifications:
MS in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 5+ years experiences on electronics in healthcare, automation, instrumentation, or telecommunication industry
Good capability on electrical design tools and simulation tools Cadence, Matlab, PSPICE, etc
Good capability on the subsystem and system level integration and related V&V development
Working experience with PWA/PWB and subsystem technical process for signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC circuit design and simulation tool experience
Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
Strong sense of ownership
Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and global project experience
