Are you passionate about making a difference and interested in being a key member of the UK AWS business team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services in the Public Sector? Do you have the business savvy and digital leadership background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider in the Public Sector, specifically working within the Northern Ireland region? You will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of emerging technology in this highly strategic market segment. Your responsibilities will include advising senior public sector leaders on strategy and to drive adoption and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology, ideally Cloud related, as well as public sector experience and a profile that enables you to facilitate high level engagement in this market segment. As this role would support Public Sector customers in Northern Ireland, it is required that you are based there

Core Responsibilities;

• Help drive in-country revenue and market segment share.

• Facilitate strong relationships with key officials, policy makers, advisors, and key partners.

• Create and maintain long-term strategic customer relationships with public sector leaders.

• Help define AWS' regional public sector strategy.

• Develop and execute against a comprehensive development plan.

• Develop and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.

• Accelerate customer adoption and strategic partnerships.

• Work with partners to extend reach and facilitate adoption.

• Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.

• Strong understanding of AWS Cloud services and Digital transformation with key public sector areas.

Basic Qualifications

  • Public Sector industry experience

  • Entrepreneurial mindset; you have supported transformational change in public sector entities through previous experience and can evidence this

  • You are an excellent public speaker and seen as a thought leader in the field.

  • You enjoy spending time with customers, and have a strong network and the ability to cultivate relationships with tech and non-tech C Suite.

  • You have a distinctive ability to communicate complex ideas in succinct and compelling ways. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of AWS Cloud services and Digital transformation.

  • Social Housing industry experience in UK and other geographies
