T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Analysts, Credit Risk Management in Bellevue, WA to Identify new credit segmentation opportunities using statistical methods leading to enhancements to credit decision process and policies, collections strategies, and fraud strategies. Partner with members of the Credit Risk Management team and other functional teams for the deployment, analysis, and tracking of new credit strategies to manage risk. Manipulate large amounts of data, extract key insights from that data, and clearly and concisely communicate actionable recommendations based on those insights. Participate in technical projects at various stages from idea or hypothesis generation to development and implementation. Serve as the primary statistics analyst in assigned projects. Utilize statistical segmentation techniques to identify new opportunities. Extract, load, and transform data from multiple sources necessary for statistical, reporting, and ad hoc analysis. Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of credit policies to meet given objectives. Develop predictive financial and analytical models using the appropriate statistical methodologies, including trend and regression analysis. Participate in and perform the analysis of new data and statistical products by external vendors. Work with credit bureau and alternative credit data and deliver work output with full awareness of and adherence with project timelines and agreed-upon deadlines. Perform statistical and analytical programming languages including SAS. Handle quantitative modelling and process management. Handle statistical software packages including SQL, C++, Python, and R. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Data Analytics, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or related field, and 1 year of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of relevant work experience. In addition, the following skills are required: (1)Using Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI to perform qualitative and quantitative credit related analysis; (2)Creating visualizations and generating reports using Tableau and Power BI; (3)Evaluating response and performance of campaigns, models, and strategies using SAS and SQL; (4) Using statistical methodologies such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, and Decision Trees for strategy development; and (5)Performing scenario analysis, credit limit reviews, and credit policy reviews to identify any potential risks or opportunities and evaluate the creditworthiness of customers. Washington Pay Range: $113,118.00 to $133,900.00/year. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
