Are you looking for an opportunity to define end-to-end analytics roadmap, work with cross functional teams and leverage cutting edge modern technologies and cloud solutions to develop analytics products. DSP Analytics team has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. TPM to improve Amazon’s Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program through impactful data solutions.

Key job responsibilities

The goal of Amazon’s DSP organization is to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, we are looking for an innovative, highly-motivated and experienced TPM who can think holistically about problems to understand how BI and analytics systems work together to identify and execute both tactical and strategic projects. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Working with senior leaders across 5+ engineering teams, product and program teams and senior org leaders to deliver end-to-end data solutions aimed at continuously enhancing overall DSP performance and delivery quality.

  2. Develop a clear prioritization framework for the entire Analytics org and also instill best practices, Compliance and Operations Excellence.

  3. Provide thought leadership and risk mitigation for both tactical and strategic projects.

  4. Effectively engage and provide right signals to the cross-org teams through resource management and requirements gathering.

  5. Leader in setting direction for the analytic team's strategic vision (1 year, 3 year) and innovation.

Overall, the business coverage is broad, and you will identify and prioritize what matters most for the business, quantify what is (or is not) working, invent and simplify the current process.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 3+ years of software development experience

  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
