About the role

Drive Compensation Excellence as a Compensation Manager North America Region

HYBRID ROLE- 2 Days in office a week in Beloit, WI

Spearhead strategic compensation management as a Compensation Manager NA, fostering transparency and equity across North America. As a subject matter expert, design, implement, and enhance compensation initiatives aligned with our global rewards strategy, overseeing base pay, incentives, recognition, performance management, and more.

  • Ensure compliance, equity, and cost-effectiveness across programs, policies, and procedures.

  • Guide market analysis, job evaluation, salary surveys, and pay grades, maintaining a competitive and globally connected rewards program.

  • Collaborate with HR partners, managers, and peers, advising on pay decisions, offers, policy, and exceptions.

  • Lead annual pay planning, incentive payments, performance management, and program enhancements.

  • Develop compelling materials for management and remuneration committees.

Collaborative approach to building alignment and driving change across the organization, ensuring successful implementation of compensation programs and initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Excel in project management, delivering high-quality and timely deliverables.

  • Proactively communicate and educate on performance management, compensation plans, and policies, fostering understanding and engagement.

  • Oversee plan modeling, budgeting, analytics, and incentive calculations.

  • Serve as the primary compensation resource for issues, international assignments, union matters, mergers, and acquisitions.

  • Partner with HR-ICT and the service center, ensuring accurate compensation information and an intuitive user experience.

Qualifications and skills

  • A bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field is required.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation, with at least 3 years of experience managing a compensation function.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of North American (U.S. and Canada) pay regulations and laws.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience with SAP and professional certifications is an advantage.

  • This role does not have direct reports but coordinates compensation support through external vendors and a centralized service center.

Salary Range: $122,128-$189,720
