Kelly Services RD&A Lab Technician in Beloit, Wisconsin
Kelly is currently recruiting candidates for a RD&A Lab Technician for a top-notch client in Beloit, WI.
Pay: $25/hr
Shift Hours: M-F, 8am - 5pm

This is an entry level position that represents the potential first step in the career path of a R&D Associate Scientist. Demonstrate scientific curiosity & employ efficient time management techniques. Work in liquid Beverage laboratory environment to support pilot plant trials and prepare samples for internal and external customers.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Liaise with R&D scientists to understand roasting, extraction and drying technologies,
Liaise with R&D Scientists to fully understand formulation, processing, batching, packaging.
Maintain individual stock of raw materials to batch sample product quickly (within 24 hours)
Responsible of finished product inventory and fulfillment of sample requests.
Support projects in pilot plant.
Demonstrate a scientific curiosity.
Employ efficient time management techniques
Participate in sensory panels and other developmental opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned pertaining to business/project needs.
Ship samples to clients
Preform some analytical such as toxicity, BRIX, pH, etc.
NOTE:
Possibly food sensitivities for coffee or milk products
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time in laboratory and pilot plant and lift 50lbs
Must be able to taste and smell chemicals, flavors and food products.
Bachelor’s degree in a science field highly preferred; may consider someone without degree if they have similar food laboratory experience and skills.
