Wells Fargo Analytics Consultant in Bengaluru, India

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant who will be responsible for forecasting and reporting fraud losses working with the Fraud & Claims team. The key priorities for this role will be to maintain and improve forecasting models, report on variances, and provide expertise on impacts of business changes. The incumbent should have strong communication, an understanding of fraud losses, possess the ability to work across various partners to achieve goals, and be fluent in key technical tools building executive reporting.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics

  • The incumbent would functionally contribute as an SME to the Fraud & Claim Management team for fraud losses.

  • Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models.

  • Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance.

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals.

  • Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must possess a results driven attitude committed to quality work.

  • Strong data visualization and analytics skills.

  • Must have excellent communication skills, high degree of initiative, strong partnering and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to conduct reconciliation efforts and report findings in support of research activities.

  • Proficiency with SQL & data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Knowledge of SAS programs and Alteryx to make processes more efficient.

  • Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization.

  • Experience with fraud losses.
