Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible to take of SQDCP for HVT & Generators modality.

  • Ensuring that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Promoting and implementing environmentally sustainable practices within the production processes.

  • Implementing and maintaining quality control programs to ensure products meet specified standards and customer expectations.

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations on the production floor to ensure products are manufactured on time and according to quality standards.

  • Allocating resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials effectively to ensure smooth production processes.

  • Monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with supply chain management to ensure adequate stock of raw materials and finished products.

  • Monitoring production costs and identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or efficiency.

  • Leading initiatives to improve production processes, productivity, and efficiency through methods like lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.

  • Managing and motivating production teams to achieve production goals and fostering a positive work culture.

  • Liaising with other CFTs to coordinate production schedules and address any issues that may arise.

  • Resolving production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.

Required Qualifications

  • BE/B Tech - (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Industrial/Production)

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Production & shopfloor management

  • Should have experience in handling 100+ team size and should have worked in unionized environment

  • LEAN experience is mandatory and should have Manufacturing background experience
