Google Program Manager, Home Engineering Productivity in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program management.

  • Experience launching consumer electronics products at NPI life-cycles.

  • Experience balancing multiple projects and timelines.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of test methodologies.

  • Ability to lead through influence.

  • Ability to take responsibility for projects and see them through to completion.

  • Excellent project management skills, with experience delivering platform software.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

  • Develop Engineering Productivity execution strategies.

  • Provide quality insights to program deliveries.

  • Influence cross-functional teams on roadmap planning and decisions at each milestone with a mindset to ship quality software.

  • Develop cross-team processes, trackers, and reports.

  • Communicate with Nest executive management and cross-functional teams.
