Critical issues are monitored and worked on a 24X7 model – with efficient collaboration between these locations. The development center has dedicated Development, Quality Testing & Content and Communications Teams.
Role Objective: Short Description about the Role
As a member of the Core Product Team, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software testing tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Test enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Role Summary: Qualifications and Special Skills
Qualification:
BE/ B.Tech/ MCA (Graduate or equivalent degree)
Candidate should have more than 5 years of experience in manual testing and automation testing using Selenium, TestNG, Java, and JavaScript.
Should have had prior experience with software testing, configuration, and troubleshooting
Perform duties and tasks that are standard with some variation
Display understanding of roles, processes, and procedures
Perform moderately complex problem-solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes.
Did not sit for an interview with us in the last 6 months.
Special Skills:
Possess experience with Java, J2EE & JavaScript.
Possess experience with software development tools such as JDeveloper/Eclipse, developer tools, etc..
Possess experience with, preferably, JDE applications/exposure to JDE Development Tools
Demonstrate a basic understanding of the domain for which applications are being developed

As a member of the Core Product Team, you will support our existing customers by testing Bugs
Write detailed test steps based on the provided high-level design specifications
Perform a client requirements analysis and use effective communication with internal and external customers
Project automation, testing of enhancements and bugs
Write Manual and execute test scripts.
Debug, fix Automation framework defects
Contribute to functional and technical designs
Teamwork
Contribute to the definition of the team processes and standards
Operate under minimum supervision, primarily within the boundaries of the team
Cooperate with others within and outside the group who impact work processes to achieve group objectives
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot, and debug Automation framework for commercial or end-user applications. Writes automation framework code, completes scripting, and performs testing of applications.
As a member of the Core Product Team, you will perform detailed design based on provided high-level design specifications. Assist in system test planning, scheduling, and implementation. Build enhancements (including new requirements in Automation Framework) and resolve framework bugs. Build and execute test plans. Review integration and regression test plans with the team. Interact with the Development team and understand the requirements.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes, and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem-solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of software engineering or related experience.
Required Skills : Object Oriented Principles, Selenium, TestNg, Java and JavaScript.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
Understanding Application Servers such as Oracle WebLogic Server or IBM WebSphere Application Server.
Good understanding of C.
Any candidate with prior JD Edwards experience would be a plus.
