Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

This role is for a Senior Full Cycle Engineer in the Oracle CX product development team based out of Bangalore. Oracle CX (https://www.oracle.com/cx/) is core to the Oracle strategy, and its solutions are fully SaaS and multi-tenanted. The successful candidate will be building integrations between systems (internal and external) leveraging the Oracle CX Apps platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the features/enhancements and sustenance tasks of a component/module within the CX suite of products by collaborating closely with various stakeholders (Architecture, Product Management, Release Management, Customer Support, Other module owners etc)

  • Deliver scalable/performant software design and implement by writing clean, auto-testable code

  • Write unit/dev tests and functional/QC tests and automate the same

  • Implement software development best practices in design and coding phase – programming, performance, security

  • Participate in design and code reviews.

  • Collaborate within the team to monitor and maintain the solution on to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

  • Individual ownership of Development, Quality, Performance and the necessary automation tasks to deliver the same efficiently

  • Wear multiple hats – function/area/component/product

  • Think, Act and Evolve as a Full Cycle Engineer – SWE, SDET, SRE

  • Work within short release cycles
