Staff Validation Engineer
Job Description
As a Staff Validation Engineer, you will help evaluate new silicon designs and validate their performance. Careful planning and attention to detail are key in designing test hardware and strong programming skills are needed to implement lab testing. You will communicate the status of the project and quickly adapt to issues and work with the team to find the best resolution. You can also expect to mentor less experienced engineers.
Qualifications
Experience in working with Automotive IC’s is a plus.
Experience on Post Silicon validation (6+ years) Senior/Lead Engineer
Experience in Post-Si Test plan creation and content development along with validation.
Strong understanding of Specification Compliance Matrix
Experience in python automation for instrument control and data measurement (C knowledge is a plus)
Experience in using lab equipment’s like Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Power supply etc
Ability to summarize and analyze data
Experience on high current>50A and high voltage >200V preferred
Debugging software and hardware during validation.
Knowledge on board debugging and bring up
Ability to make validation execution plan and tracking.
Experience with Jira for bug tracking
Strong communication skills
Experience with SPI/I2C and working with IC’s with trim
Experience design validation hardware
Ability to work in a cross functional and geographically diverse environment
