Assistant Controller
As the Assistant Controller, you will Assist the Corporate Controller in various accounting tasks to compile and accurately report the Company's financial statements.
Accountable for accounting operations, month-end close process and preparing monthly financial reports. Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the Company's financial data. Implement and ensure company is in compliance with accounting best practices and GAAP and IFRS requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare Monthly Financial Statements
To gather data and produce multiple financial statements and analysis
Receive Final Month End Balance Sheet and Various P&L statements
Analysis of G/L accounts for reasonableness and accuracy
Assist internal and external auditors
To support auditors in testing the internal controls in place on all accounting functions
Prepare various financial and analytical statements to auditors
Document and provide support on several accounting cycles to test internal controls
Manage all cash functions
To control the disbursement of cash for all of the company's obligations
Analyze amounts and due dates to suppliers and vendors. Paying particular attention to raw material, utility and service suppliers
Support staff
To supervise individuals that their duties and responsibilities are being accomplished
Provide direction to A/P staff on vendor invoices, payments and discrepancies
Provide direction to Accountant on Cash functions, trade management and G/L duties
Complete multiple projects
To produce various reports ranging from analysis to budget and forecast
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar major
3 years' experience with US GAAP and IFRS Accounting
3 years' experience with SAP
