Philips MR Clinical Application Specialist in Best, Netherlands

As part of our MRI Business Unit, implement solutions and delivers clinical consulting projects for healthcare customers, support development of new solutions and consulting methods, and contribute to the solution design and delivery activities.

Your role:

  • Be the clinical specialist with a deep understanding of the clinical environment and clinical user needs in a specific clinical domain.

  • Voice user needs from multiple clinical user perspectives, e.g. radiologist, technologist, referring physician and patient.

  • Clinical Specialist Management to maintain the high-quality clinical knowledge to perform the activities in a specific clinical domain by attending courses, seminars, and trainings necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence and/or licensure.

  • Responsible for end-to-end Clinical Imaging and Workflow Quality by looking at fully integrated clinical solutions in a specific clinical domain (Clinical Features, Accessories, new systems, Coils, etc.).

  • Collaborates with customers and key stakeholders in evaluating new (clinical) applications and/or technologies and use input as input for the User Needs.

  • Execute customer-facing activities, like (hands-on) training and workshops in a specific clinical domain.

  • Quality Assurance by Software testing to achieve maturity by Identifying application issues, investigate and resolve issues or identify potential defects, document and submit those according to standard processes.

  • Keeping in close contact with the product group, in order to increase/maintain the application knowledge and be timely informed about new developments.

  • Participating in the development of new solutions (services and/or product functionality)or the development of improved system settings.

You're the right fit if:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in the field of medical imaging/MBRT)

  • Minimum of 2-3 years clinical working experience with MRI

  • Experience in MR protocol optimization activities, MR application technology and knowledge on the MR physics

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by (internal) customers

  • Good interpersonal and communcation skills, the ability to effectively communicate with Radiologists, technologists and peers.

  • Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve

  • Innovative mind-set to develop (creative) solutions

  • Shows great flexibility, determination and stamina to ensure that proper solutions are implemented.

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)

  • Team player

  • Pro-active mind set
