Job Summary

The Optimum Business Manger of Sales Technology will oversee our end-to-end sales process and own the technology and associated architecture, integration needs, and IT project pipelines for the purposes of driving growth across a variety of sales channels including online and offline. This role will serve as a key technology leader within our company, helping to champion a "digital first" planning culture, and guiding corporate efforts to further adopt digital technologies as a core part of our sales operations.

This is a position that requires a dedicated professional and will have hands-on involvement in all B2B Sales Operations activities. Within this approach channels served will include Digital, Call Center, Direct, VAR, Channel Partner, and Carrier across small-medium-business and enterprise verticals. Responsibilities will include driving projects meant to grow sales volume and revenue through finding efficiencies and adding new functionality across the sales cycle from initial customer acquisition to subscription lifetime management. Supported by an expansive cross-departmental team, the working strategy must consider the needs of stakeholders across Product, Offers, Billing, Engineering, IT, and Marketing to define dynamic experiences as part of an omni-channel sales pipeline both internally and with external sales partners.

The chosen candidate will be able to integrate processes across network serviceability, catalog management, audience segmentation, prospecting, order entry, payments, field management, provisioning, and data quality or augmentation. They will enable our sales teams by managing the roadmap of process optimizations and new features for the digital tools they use every day, helping to guide a team of technical analysts, developers, and platform administrators who will make it real. The successful candidate will have a command of best practices and trends across technologies including CRM, GIS, CPQ, RLM, CDP, CMS, CLM, DSP, ESP, and BSS/OSS.

Responsibilities

*Partner with sales leadership to define technology needs and develop a comprehensive sales technology roadmap
*Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased sales effectiveness
*Research, evaluate, and recommend best-in-class sales automation, sales enablement, sales intelligence, and other relevant solutions
*Develop and implement data-driven strategies to streamline sales processes and improve conversion rates
*Assist in the ongoing configuration and optimization of Salesforce as the core B2B Sales Operations platform.
*Lead the selection and implementation process for new sales technologies, ensuring alignment with budget and business objectives
*Configure and customize sales technologies to optimize workflows and user experience for the sales team.
*Develop and maintain integrations between various sales tools within the technology stack.
*Ensure data integrity and consistency across all sales systems.
*Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of sales technology solutions, recommending adjustments as needed.
*Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
*Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in sales technology and best practices.

Qualifications

*Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field
*Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
*Proven experience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing sales technologies (CRM, Sales Automation, etc.)
*Strong understanding of operations management, change management principles, and project management methodologies
*Experience with agile software development and associated platforms (e.g. Jira)
*Experience reading and utilizing API documentation
*Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau)
*Experience in the telecommunications industry desirable
*Technical certifications desirable
*Ability to produce clear, compelling, and motivational communications quickly
*Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment
*Ability to think and act strategically and proactively
*Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
