Key Responsibilities:
Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and mechanical and electrical diagnostics to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Install, inspect, and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, filling equipment, case packers, labelers, and more.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, using prints and sketches to perform maintenance and repairs.
Follow oral and written instructions to prepare parts lists, work schedules, and detailed reports.
Dismantle, inspect, and repair standard machines, including cam-driven machines, with keen attention to detail.
Perform rigging tasks to handle heavy equipment or parts, ensuring safe and accurate lifting.
Diagnose and repair issues such as wear, timing problems, and mechanical defects by sight, sound, and touch.
Operate shop tools (lathe, drill press, shaper) to fabricate parts or make repairs.
Ensure equipment is within tolerance specifications using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and feelers.
Wire 3-phase motors and read meters to test electrical systems.
Work with gearboxes, pumps, and electrical systems up to 480 volts to maintain operational efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical and electrical repairs.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics.
Ability to perform rigging and operate heavy equipment safely.
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing machines.
Familiarity with shop tools and equipment (lathe, drill press, shaper) and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
Knowledge of wiring and working with 3-phase motors and electrical systems up to 480 volts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Steel-toed boots are required (all other personal protective equipment provided by (Company Name)).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $29.50/hr.
