WSP USA Senior Project Manager in Birmingham, United Kingdom
As a Senior Project Manager leading on key projects with varied levels of complexity on behalf of and in support of Rolls Royce. You will be based in Birmingham at the WSP Mailbox office and at the client’s project location in Derby according to the need of the project at any given time. You will have hands-on experience of working with client teams in a collaborative and integrated manner.
Duties would include, but are not limited to:
In line with project specific briefs, establishing robust processes and procedures and project documentation such as programmes, project reports, change control and the like to manage the project, in consultation and engagement with the Client, and project team.
Ensuring key parameters of Performance Cost and Time are measured, reported against and action taken to mitigate deficiencies.
You will be given opportunities to manage your own projects, with ongoing support as part of your career development, and taking on responsibility for the successful planning and execution of projects and programmes within the Built Environment.
Leading and managing the project team, to include other third party specialist consultants such as design teams, cost and technical consultants throughout the life cycle of any given project. Ensuring project briefs and deliverables are met at all times.
Providing regular project reports, such as progress, and highlight reports. Reporting on progress, change, risk, and cost throughout each stage of any project.
Managing interfaces between project and client teams.
Attending and Charing all project meetings.
All other duties as deemed necessary.

Demonstrable capability & experience in Project Management and Project Controls.
Want to grow and develop your Project Management career within a Global Business
Have a proven Project Management background within a Consultancy environment, working as part of a project team and/or leading your own projects.
Can demonstrate your ability to coordinate and manage teams to consistently deliver projects.
Are passionate about construction, innovation and industry best practice initiatives.
Are not afraid to challenge the status quo, to try innovative solutions and learn from past experiences.
Are a member of a professional institution (such as MAPM) or working towards it.
Hold a relevant degree, or similar higher education qualification.
