We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our team. This person will serve as the primary engineer for our android device, and Apple iPad device management. As a Mobile Engineer, you will help to ensure a stable, consistent experience across all mobile platforms and support these devices across 244 (and growing) clubs.
Responsibilities:
Vast, hands-on experience with Airwatch/Workspace One, preferably in a retail environment. Experience with Wavelink (a plus)
Experience with deployment of Mobile Devices and software upgrades (iPads, Rugged Tablets, Zebra, Windows CE.)
Support all Mobility related upgrades, and Lifecycle Management for Clubs & Distribution Centers.
Troubleshoot device and application related issues reported by clubs and Distribution Centers
Coordinate and communicate with all IT departments, application developers, internally & externally to support and implement new solutions.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve all mobility issues on android, and iOS platforms.
Continually evaluate environment from a device standpoint and regularly provide engineering solutions and efficiencies.
Experience in Honeywell Mobility including configuring, deploying, maintaining, patching & supporting.
Experience with enrolling and managing Honeywell & VoCollect units into Workspace One.
Day to Day:
The breakdown for this position is about 40% “day to day” work, 30% handling escalated tickets and 30% project work.
Day to Day work includes configuration and deployment of TC51/TC52, MC9300 and Apple iPad devices for existing and new clubs/ DC’s.
Project work includes ad-hoc requests from Business teams or Life-Cycle Management( LCM) Projects. Project work may also include MDM cleanup and maintenance.
Escalated tickets may require you to troubleshoot devices with club users or troubleshoot using Remote Management via our MDM.
Competencies:
Experience with Zebra Mobility, including TC51, TC52, MC9200 & MC9300, VC80X, and VC8300 devices.
Experience in Honeywell Mobility & VoCollect devices.
Analyze and develop innovative solutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the system level.
Create and maintain documentation for the architectural design, representation of logical layout of services, representation of network communication services, IP address and port traffic data, and service communications information documentation for the MDM solution.
Coordinate with Network, Virtualization, Security, Active Directory/Exchange teams on the implementation of solutions.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
2-3 years relevant experience.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $75,500.00.
