Safety Specialist

Job Description

Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. May conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals.

Job Functions

  • Safety Observations

  • Safe Behavior Coaching

  • Communicating

  • Time Keeping

  • Data Analysis

  • Creating and developing training, policies, and procedures

Shift

  • Monday through Friday 7 AM to 4 PM

Work Environment

The work environment is that within a food manufacturing facility. The majority of the site is outdoors and is subject to varying weather conditions.
