      Position Summary

    As a Warehouse Associate specializing in marketing material handling, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate picking and packing of marketing materials. This role is vital to ensure that promotional and marketing items are effectively distributed to various locations, events, and customers. We offer a flexible part-time schedule (up to 20 hours a week), with workdays typically falling between Monday and Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. 

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and Packing: Accurately pick marketing materials as per event specifications. Pack materials ensuring their protection and neat presentation. This includes assembling various types of marketing kits and promotional packages.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of marketing materials. Conduct regular stock checks and update the inventory management system.

  • Quality Control: Inspect marketing materials for any damage or defects. Ensure that all items meet quality standards before packing.

  • Shipping and Receiving: Assist in the loading and unloading of marketing materials. Prepare shipping labels and documents ensuring that materials are dispatched to the correct destinations.

  • Order Fulfillment: Process event orders in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinate with the marketing team to understand priorities and deadlines.

  • Equipment Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.

  • Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and clean, ensuring that marketing materials are stored neatly and in an accessible manner.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other warehouse staff to manage workload and meet deadlines.

  • Adherence to Policies: Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.

    Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably with picking and packing duties.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory management.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items.

  • Team player with strong organizational skills required

  • Repetitive light to heavy lifting of 30 to 50 pounds

  • Lifting Jack experience, not required - but is a plus

     

    Physical Demands:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This would include the ability to lift and move boxes and materials up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
