Salary: $33.00 – $35.00/hour; Depends on experience

Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise is a growing city of approximately 226,570 and serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Housing costs are moderate.

Primary Duties: IT Operations & Support Analyst II will provide technical support and training to users and technical staff. Onboard new employees with office technology resources, procedures, initial setup, and additional services. Utilize Microsoft 365 administration services such as Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint, to create and troubleshoot user accounts. Perform system administration and technical support for user endpoints, hardware, software, and networks. Diagnose and resolve basic LAN, wireless, and VPN issues. Install and maintain hardware and software products and configure computers and network equipment accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or four years of equivalent experience. A minimum of four years of IT help desk support and administration experience. Experience providing one-to-one IT troubleshooting, support, and training in an office environment. Good knowledge of current computer trends, software, capabilities, and terminology. Experience working with network systems, evaluating and resolving computer system problems including compatibility conflicts, application operations, hardware malfunctions, and telecommunications problems. Experience working with desktop imaging and endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune, SmartDeploy, PDQ. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

The candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint-based background check prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Certification(s) in the IT industry, such as A+, Network+, Security+, and/or Microsoft specific training/certifications. Experience working with network protocols such as IP address schemas, DNS, DHCP, and directory services. The ideal candidate would have great organizational skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team, be able to prioritize and multi-task work assignments, and have strong interpersonal skills with both customers and team members.
