How Will You Contribute to the Company?\ As the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting, you will be a pivotal part of the team, ensuring compliance with Revenue recognition guidelines, to drive strategic initiatives, optimize operations and ensure organizational effectiveness. This role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as a deep understanding of technology revenue enablement.\ \ What Will You Do?

  • This position will be managing the end-to-end accounting, business, and system processes in compliance with revenue recognition guidance (ASC 606) and has significant responsibility for analyzing and reporting revenue
  • This role will lead the day-to-day operations on all issues related to the revenue cycle, provide analysis, create written processes, and train others in implementing a cross-functional revenue cycle
  • Act as primary internal expert and key contact with respect to requirements and impact on the revenue recognition cycle as projects are deployed
  • Responsible for month-end and quarter-end close activities (including deferral and recognition of cost of revenue under ASC 340, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and monthly management reporting packages)
  • Provide guidance, business partnering or decision support on complex revenue related transactions or new product launches
  • Monitor regulatory or business changes and address impacts to revenue accounting operations
  • Maintain and/or develop policy, procedures or internal control analysis documents leading to effective and efficient financial reporting process and controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to identify continuous improvement opportunities and/or optimize revenue accounting operations
  • Lead, manage and/or develop a high-performing team where inclusion and diversity of thought are leveraged for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Lead and support other company/CFO organization initiatives

\ Qualifications\ Minimum Qualifications:

  • Accounting degree with eight (8+) years of relevant, progressive experience with public accounting experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and revenue recognition guidelines
  • Proven experience in preparing and justifying revenue recognition documentation for external audits and SOX Compliance
  • People management experience with proven ability to attract, retain and develop team
  • Ability to collaborate with and/or lead cross-functional business partners and processes
  • Real passion for continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
